About Our Practice

Customized Care. Direct Physician Guidance.

At Vitality Testosterone & Weight Loss, we offer customized peptide therapy protocols designed to support your body's natural processes—guided directly by a physician and tailored to your unique physiology.

This is not protocol-driven care. Every recommendation is refined, individualized, and grounded in medical expertise.

The Science

What Is Peptide Therapy?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules within the body. They play a role in regulating functions such as metabolism, cellular communication, and recovery processes.

In a clinical setting, peptide therapy is used as part of a comprehensive, physician-directed plan to support overall wellness and optimization.

Our Process

Our Approach to Peptide Therapy

Your care at Vitality is built around precision and personalization:

  • Comprehensive medical consultation
  • Review of symptoms, history, and goals
  • Lab evaluation when clinically appropriate
  • Customized protocol design
  • Ongoing monitoring and physician oversight

You will never be placed on a generic protocol—every treatment plan is tailored specifically to you.

Quality & Safety Standards

We source medications from licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies that adhere to rigorous standards for quality and safety, including sterility and potency testing. This ensures that every therapy we prescribe aligns with our commitment to physician-directed, high-level care.

Featured Protocol

Sermorelin — Our Primary Peptide Protocol

Sermorelin is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH). It stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and release growth hormone naturally—working with your body's own physiology rather than introducing synthetic HGH directly.

This makes Sermorelin one of the most established and well-tolerated growth hormone peptides in physician-supervised use, with a favorable safety profile backed by decades of clinical experience.

Additional peptide protocols are available. Dr. Jaqua will discuss all appropriate options privately during your consultation based on your individual evaluation.

Regulatory Update

The 2026 Peptide Regulatory Update

On February 27, 2026, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that approximately 14 peptides previously classified as Category 2—and thus restricted from legal compounding—are expected to be reclassified to Category 1, restoring legal physician-supervised compounding access.

As of April 2026, the formal FDA publication of the updated list has not yet been released. Compounding pharmacies cannot legally resume production of previously restricted peptides until the official FDA document is published.

Current physician-supervised protocols at Vitality Texas are unaffected by this transition. Patients will be notified through clinic communications when additional protocols become available following formal publication.

For a full explanation of the announcement and what it means for patients, see our in-depth article: Peptide Therapy FDA Status 2026: What the RFK/HHS Announcement Means for Patients.
